CG Friendly Heat Protectant

Hi everyone,

I am 1 week in to the CG method and wanted to know if there was a CG method friendly heat protectant. Although I am not longer flat ironing my hair I am still using a defuser & would like to minimize the damage to my hair.

I try to use products that are as natural as possible and have been using two products from Intelligent Nutrients: the Leave-In Conditioner and the Styling Pomade. Both say on the label that they can be used as a heat protectant. The pomade is quite thick and oily; I put just a little bit of it on my wet hair, and it doesn't seem to be too heavy for my fine strands.

I just started using them so cannot say how well they work. I haven't noticed any damage, but I don't do much heat styling; I maybe diffuse a little bit twice a week.

I should mention that the Styling Pomade from Intelligent Nutrients does have some wax in it, so you may have to do a low poo every now and then if the wax builds up.
