Share your Before and After Deva cuts!

I noticed on Curl Talk that there is not an "official" before and after thread for people to post pictures concerning Deva cuts (correct me if I'm wrong.) There's individual posts about it, but not a whole thread dedicated to it. I'm getting my hair cut tmrw, so I'll be sure to post pics. Even if you've posted pics on another thread, I thought it would be cool if we all posted them here! Who knows, maybe it will become a sticky! :p

I just found out there is a deva stylist an hour away from me. I've made an appointment for Sept 8th. I'll get before and after pics and will post back here. I can't wait!!! I've been really down about my appearance lately and I'm hoping this helps.

I'm planning on getting my first one this week (or ASAP). My hair is straighter than usual atm, but here's hoping it works. I'll post here after. :) Thanks for this thread; so curious to see other peoples' before and afters.

Mine too! (fav kind of thread, that is)

I'd love to see this thread on the main forum, as it would get more foot traffic that way. I have my first cut Thursday. Since I henna straightened by mistake, she may not do a true Deva cut. But since she's Deva trained, it's close enough. Thanks for your well wishes. Hopefully some good befores and afters to post. :)

    Here it is:

Before, and After (both untouched and root fluffed with frizz, but volume!).

I love looking at everyone's before and afters--it definitely would have inspired me to get a Deva cut sooner!

curlisue 1 Your hair looks beautiful! Where is your shortest layer and is the bottom a "u" or "v" shape? It looks very uniform and "sculpted" throughout. I think hairstylists are artists. ;)

Thank you. My shortest later is at the top and its about six inches long. I think the back is more of a V.

I hope some more people share their before and after deva cuts.

Ginabean98 Do you mean to say your shortest layer is at chin length?

Here's my before & after! :D The top left is before, the top right is right after the cut, and the bottom is after I styled it myself.

I like the cut, I just didn't like how she styled my hair (she raked her fingers through my hair while styling it; my curls are too weak to handle that. Gotta b gentle!). But like I said, I really like the cut! :D haven't had it this short in awhile lol!
