If you came into a cash gift of $100 that you had to spend on yourself in a week, what would you spend it on? Cannot be used to pay existing bills.

What's the best personal use of $100?

Best as in what you would figure is most prudent?

It would be best that I just put it in my savings account. However I'd probably get that blouse I want and feel more okay with dropping money on it being that I don't technically need it. Then I would hit up a farmer's market and buy fruit that I also don't need (could eat more stoic options at home) but enjoy...and then the rest goes into savings. Or I switch out the fruit with $20 to just be on hand for coffee and a meal while out socially.

If I needed a hair cut, I would spent it on that and would have money left over for something to wear. If I wasn't due a hair cut, I would buy clothes. Alternatively, I might look into one of those inch loss wraps. I'm not sure if they work, but I like the idea of them.
Yes, my tail is naturally curly.
No, it was NOT me who cried 'wee wee wee wee wee' all the way home.

Massage or reflexology session and a really good cup of iced tea from the overpriced tea shop.:flower:

Ah yeah...you did say 'have to spend on yourself'...I remember reading that. Doh.

And yes...stoic fruit options :DAlways only either apples, bananas and oranges at home.

So I'd amend this to that blouse + some other item I'd be sure to get lots of use from, from ASOS to reach $40 and get free shipping.

    Fruit ;) and/or a rug.

eta: I picked up some cherries and mangoes at a farmer's market recently...made my week, or at least the couple of days I gorged on them.

Clothes or travel. Travel would cost more so right now I would probably spend it on one of these:
    -bikini
-shoes - dressy heels or wedges
    -coverup(swim
-wristlet if I could find one
-sunglasses, although the really good ones would be more

I second the makeup and hair products. That's what I would do as well as get a pedicure. :)

I'm way to practical for my own good. I'd use it on Handyman services. Someone to come to my house and fix all the little stuff I haven't got to yet. Or a house cleaning service.

Probably makeup, although I'm so bad at spontaneously buying makeup/hair products. Like part of me wants to research it and read reviews online, and another part is just saying buy it woman! 😤

Nope! I'm counting that as an existing bill (handyman) :-)

I would spend it on food - farmer's market, roadside veg/fruit stand, local meat/eggs.
--I'm located in Western PA.   --I found NC in late 2004, CG since February 2005, joined the forums in May 2005, started going grey in late 2005.   --My hair is 3B with some 3A, currently at mid back length when dry,  texture-medium/fine, porosity-top is low, middle is medium, ends are porous, elasticity-normal.   --My long time favorite products are Suave & VO5 conditioners, LA Looks Sport Gel, coconut oil, honey, vinegar.
