CGC & Aussie Moist

Ok, so about a week ago in my process of discovering products, I slowly fell into the Curls line. They all smell DIVINE, and aren't too pricey. After purchasing the sulfate-free shampoo, I spotted Goddess Curls (gel). I read a few reviews on here from curlies saying how great it is, so I took a risk and bought it, and let me say it was a risk well worth it. The ONLY gel to actually do what it says: good hold, *no* crunch whatsoever (even with my heavy hand!). My hair was actually soft when dry, and I was beyond amazed and impressed. It seemed to go well with both of my leave-ins, too. No film or anything! Overall, I loved it and would buy again.

On the other hand, another more recent discovery may stop all future purchases of any other products! I read tons of rave reviews about Aussie Moist, and saw that it had the NaturallyCurly stamp for being a fave product, so I headed out to WalMart to give it a try. My second clue that it must be good was that it was completely out of stock! I ended up having to purchase the smaller container (for the same price as the larger at WalMart :( ) from a drugstore (WalGreen's). But I do NOT regret it! My hair LOVES Aussie! It made it so soft, my curls are defined without even adding a leave-in/styler, it smells like a Piña Colada, and the price is great. I went back today and was able to purchase the one with the pump, because I can tell I'm going to be using this quite a bit. On top of all that greatness, when I put it in a spray bottle with half AM/half water, it revives my curls like magic and even works as a styler so it dries soft and I don't need to add anything else! Wonderful 2nd day curls, and I'm confident I'd have great 3rd, 4th, 5th etc. day curls as well! Interestingly enough, when I got into the car after buying it, my mom told me that back when she was natural she used it and got extremely soft hair too. My mom is picky and 1/100 times will wear her hair naturally, so that was my third clue that this is going to be my first product I can officially call my Holy Grail!

Anyone else love these? Hate them? I wanna hear! I'm super excited to have found these!

I tried Aussie once or twice early in my journey some years ago and did not like it. BUT, I had not yet developed a successful technique. Since HEHH has recently disappointed me and I know some curlies prefer it to HEHH, I may give it a shot...#productjunkieism😁

Gotcha! I tried HEHH too. I liked it for some time, but I felt like it gave me a ton of build-up, and made my hair straw-like as a leave-in. Aussie has just worked the best for me out of everything I've tried. I'm a bit of a product junkie myself, but thankfully I don't have the money to keep trying stuff. The bottom of my sink is already overflowing!
