Henna choices?¿?

So I came upon 2 henna dyes on my local cosmetic store. Looking through online one seems like color deposit only as it lasts only for 6-8 washes.

The other one is powder and it seems ok. What's your opinion?

I can't tell you much, but henna is permanent. So if something is "henna color" I'm not sure what is in it. Some of these hennas are contaminated with heavy metals and etc. That's why many people use BAQ. But I don't know if you have that accessible to you where you are. I've used henna from Mehandi and Henna Sooq. I don't know ether of these brands you posted so I can't be of much help unfortunately. Have you used henna before? If you feel unsure about henna you may consider instead a henna tea to start with, or using Cassia (neutral henna). Cassia isn't permanent, nor quite as strong as henna, but it gives you a taste of what henna will be like. I just used some henna over the weekend. In small amounts it's great. Too much overloads my hair, and it took experimenting to find what works.

I personally wouldn't get either. I'd get Body Art Quality henna if I were you. You can't dye over non-BAQ henna with regular chemical dyes or it creates a terrible reaction which can fry off your hair or turn it undesired colors. Like naturecat said, henna is 100% permanent. If the dye says it only lasts 6-8 weeks it's not true henna.

I truly wish I could get BAQ locally! Such a bummer.
Although the product I am talking doesn't have a developer. It kinda looks like a semi permanent dye that has henna(lawsonia inermis) extract in it.
