What are the best gel's and mousses that won't weigh down hair or cause the crunchy, sticky feeling?
Asking for a friend :) She probably has barely 2A hair.

    For mousses I really Like:
    Drugstore: Herbal Essense's Totally Twisted.
    John Frieda Curl Boosting Mousse
    Medium Price: Nexxus Mousse Plus

More Expensive: Oscar Blandi Hair Lift.
Ouidad's Playcurl(though only seems to work with the whole
playcurl line which Is why I like the OBlandi
    better)

    Gels: Devacurl Light define-ing(formally Angel)
I'd like to try Deva's harder hold gel, haven't tried it though
    to better define waves

Lorraine Massey's Curly Girl book has a section on wavy and barely wavy hair that discusses how to maximize waves if your friend hasn't read it already
I'm looking for more curl, body, volume, and shine-a miracle really.
    Poos" Nioxin, Devacurl, Jessicurl
    Leave in: Ouidad Moisture Lock/B'leavein
Rinse out: VO5 Kiwi Lime, Mane and Tail,Too Shea
Mousse: Oscar Blandi Hair Life, Ouidad Playcurl
    Gel: Devacurl Light defining gel

Honestly I've tried a lot of mousses. I have barely wavy hair. Best hands down as using mousse alone is the Oscar Blandi Hair lifting mousse.

I second Lorraine Massey's book! That book legit taught me how to take care of my hair!

Also, I love Mop Top's Curly Custard.

Isn't it great?! It's so hard to use too much and I always get compliments on my hair when I'm using it.
