How to wear hair whilst running?

A pineapple looks rather silly and my hair would break if I tried to comb it.
I thought about just tying it up but because by day 3 my hair has crazy volume it looks a tad weird.

What do you curlies do? Down and headband?

Braid. My hair is mid back and extremely thick. My hair won't hold a pony tail or bun while running. Braid is the way to go! I don't even know how to French braid. Luckily my hair is long enough to grab at nape

Do you put a cream on before you braid so you can easily braid it?

I used to throw some mousse on my hair when it was long enough to braid to give it some grab. I have really slippery hair that doesn't like to stay put. But I bet that some cream would work as well - just depends on what you like.

I'm not a runner but when I work out or go biking I use a scunci no slip claw or octopus clip. Unlike normal hair clips they have rubber or silicone on the inside of the hair clip so hair actually stays in the clip and doesn't fall out.

I pineapple! At the very least it keeps my hair out of my face. I also use a headband.

I put my hair up in a not-too-tight high bun and then use 2 claw clips to secure the bun in place so it doesn't bob around when I run. Looks a little silly (especially since my clips never match in color!) but I find it works pretty well.

I don't like any kind of tight things in my hair while running, so I wear a baseball-style hat and pull the hair through the hole at the back.

I like braids too for running just because even if they fall out (and my hair hates to be tied up it seems), they still look kinda cute.
