Tresemme Undone Conditioner- cg friendly

I went to CVS thinking I could get BOGOf Shea Moisture but it only applies to hair not bath products and my hair doesn't like most SM. Anywho since I rarely go to CVS I was looking around and saw a line of Tresemme I'm not familiar with and to my surprise it's silicone free.:jocolor: I like that it said it moisturizes weightlessly because my hair can be buildup prone. I shampooed. dc'ed then used this as a rinseout because I put honey and banana type stuff in my dc. The slip was great on my hair. I could see the moisture difference and I noticed my hair wasn't as quick to retangle as it was wet. I finger detangled when normally I use a comb or paddle brush on wash day but this felt adequate for getting shed out. I think maybe more elongation. I folllowed with my li and gel. I willl tell you how my hair is once dry how it feels but so far so good.

Now this stuff says it's for wavy hair but whateva. I know the deal with marketing and we know there are things marketed to us 4s thats 2s love so don't be afraid to try it. it said apply misdshaft but I ignored that.

for those who don't mind comes CVS has knockoffs of some tresemme products but not naturals.

My hair is dry this morning and feels soft and moisturized. I'm not prepared to say it's entirely the undone because I was coming off a dc but I think it contributed. Next I plan to try it as a cowash and a li. Will let you know. CVS is the only place I have seen this line. there is also a silicone free shampoo but I mostly use ayurvedic shampoos so I didn't examine the bottle closely. THey sell TN there too which is nice because Walgreens which is closer to me but doesn't and sometimes Walmart is out.

That's great to know. I'm doing some Curl Talk searches on it now. How do you use it? How long has it been around? I hate I have been missing out but I had never seen it before yesterday and I was at a CVS a town over.. I don't know how they decide to put which Tresemme in which stores. As popular as TN is I have been wondering why companies like Pantene and Aussie don't make a large size silicone free conditioner.

I can now def say my hair is more moisturized after using this as a rinseout. Everything else I used I had used before and I see a difference. I used a light gel fsg and still not a whole lot of frizz. It makes sense my hair would like this type of weightless moisture since although I'm a 4 and nowherenear wavy. butters, milks and puddings make my hair greasy

It is quite new. Like maybe 5 months? I use it as rinse out and leave in. I also love the sea foam from that line but really after 2 years of trying conditioners I love this one. My luck is they'll discontinue it or something. I do the squish to condish method which uses quite a lot so it's nice to find a cheap condish this nice. I'm glad you like it!

    Update

I used the Undone as a rinseout on Koi then as a li bymixing it with castor oil and few drops or marula oil. Koi was very very happy.. Usually if I don't put TN as my li my hair revolts. The Undone absorbs more qickly into my low porosity hair. Drying time wasn't that of normal porosity but better than usual. I noticed my ecostyler gave a better hold less frizz than it has lately. I think maybe having one less humectant in my hair since Undone doesn't have aloe mhelped. I've been reading up on humectants and that castor oil is antihumectant. I also read sea kelp is some type of protein. IDK but Koi didn't mind it. This conditioner definitely elongates my curls and I am seeing less tangling in my tangle prone section. Also good news I saw it yesterday in Dollar General so more stores sell thisin my area than sell TN.

Reporting on day 2 because honestly I have always preferred it day one. I spritzed my hair last night with undone mixed ith conditioner, applied a small amount of moisturizer. braided, satin scarf. bed.

Today my braidout looked amazing. hydrated. defined. got lots of compliments. I was outside part of the day but the humidity wasn't really bad. of note this product elongates my hair and I knmow things work differently for people but this may be what some people may or may not want.
