Giovanni Vitapro Fusion Protective Moisture

I just bought Giovanni Vitapro Fusion Protective Moisture and used it today. I sprayed it on my just washed damp hair, combed it through and then used Tigi Mega Moist. My hair feels pretty good....is definitely more wavy. It doesn't seem to be making me itch which is a plus. I could get a different result next time I use it. That happens often.

Here are the list of ingredients:

Aqua (purified water), *aloe barbadensis (aloe vera) leaf juice, *glycine soja (soybean) seed extract, *betula alba (birch) extract, *malva sylvestris (mallow) extract, *achillea millefolium (yarrow) extract, *chamomilla recutita (matricaria) flower extract, *equisetum arvense extract, *lavandula angustifolia (lavender) extract, *rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf extract, *salvia sclarea (clary) extract, *thymus vulgaris (thyme) extract, *tussilago farfara (coltsfoot) flower extract, *urtica dioica (nettle) extract, tocopherol (vitamin E), citric acid, phenoxyethanol, helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, natural frangrance. *Certified Organic

Has anyone used this? And for you science ladies....do vitamins have any effect on hair when applied topically? I know that in the beauty industry a lot of stuff is marketing nonsense and has no practical use. It sounds good but in reality does nothing.

ingredient list looks good. what does it do for your hair exactly? a curl enhancer, or a just moisture seal?

My hair feels a bit more moisturized but I wouldn't say it's really moisturizing. It made it very shiny, and it seemed to enhance my waves which are normally pretty weak. It is more manageable and not quite as frizzy. The product label says it strengthens, protects, helps repair damaged hair. I would agree with most of that. As far as actually "repairing" the hair. That really isn't possible. I will say it made my hair appear to be in better condition.
The main issues I have with conditioners are: not moisturizing enough, make my hair limp/flat, and make my scalp/places where hair touches my skin red and itchy. This product didn't cause any of those issues. Because I used this with Tigi Moisture Maniac which gave my hair the moisture it needs.
Today is second day hair....which I never have good second day hair. My hair looks pretty good....not real frizzy, feels soft but not limp or flat. The waves didn't hold up but that's typical for me.
As we all know others could have very different results from using this product. I think it's worth a try as you can buy it online for $5.50 on Vitacost.com.

Maybe it acts as a sealer. Looks nice and light. Never seen it before.

It's a spray on and has the consistency of water. So you don't feel anything coating your hair. It doesn't have any slip at all. I would imagine it's best used first before your other products.
I still wonder if the vitamin thing is a marketing ploy. There are claims that vitamins applied topically can be beneficial to your skin (like A & C) but whether they can do anything for your hair...I don't know.

Seems like you're getting a nice light humectant. If you like it use it! Vitamins don't repair the hair because unlike skin hair is "dead."
2bc/ f / ii. low porosity roots + normal-high porosity shaft where bleached. normal elasticity.
