My apologies, I didn't realize I was too much of an idiot to ask questions here. Won't make that mistake again.

Please do not put another chemical process on your wife's hair.

She could end up with bald patches or at worse with chemical burns as it's clear neither of you know what you are doing.

This would be far far more costly both in terms of money and emotion than going to the salon now as she will be visiting dermatologists.

    While your choices now are:
    1. to go to the salon now, or
    2. buy a wig, or,
    3. manage with her hair as it is now.

This site and this part of the forum is really a natural hair site where the majority of the women (and men) do not apply any chemical processes to their hair.

Some of us have in the past, and even those of us who haven't suffered personally have seen the devastation chemical hair products can do to people's hair and scalp.

If you don't understand what I mean take an empty clean can and put the chemical you are applying to your wife's hair on it.

I don't know what your original question was, but please don't feel this way.

What was the question? Just because you didn't like one person's answer doesn't mean others can't help

The question was along the lines - My wife has 4c hair and has cut off her locs. She is unhappy with her natural hair so I put a relaxer on it for her. However the relaxer didn't straightener her hair so should I put another one on it?

We can't afford for her to go to a salon this month. Then something about reading after application the type of relaxer they used.

I don't see anything wrong with the response. I'm not sure how this translates to the OP being an idiot. That would totally fry her hair.

Unfortunately things are interpreted on the internet in different ways.

On another forum I'm on where 90% of the posters are male, if you and about 5 other posters don't give some new posters the answer they want they get offended. They accuse you of being nasty to them or insulting them.

If you did agree with them then you are putting them at risk of heavy fines, bankruptcy or jail.

On the same forum there are threads for people who are at risk of that due to some financial schemes they got involved in.

The question probably didn't even need an answer.
He probably already knew what he intended to do with his wife's hair, and just wanted to see how many people would give him the okay to do it.

    *sighs*

I don't see anything wrong with the response. It was honest. Doing a second relaxer or any chemical treatment right after doing one on her hair is a majorly bad idea. The fact that they don't know this tells me they shoudn't be doing this themselves.
Yes, it's real. No, you can't touch it. :wav:
