Low poo

Hello! I'm currently looking for a low poo that will compliment the body shop banana conditioner.

Ingredients:
Aqua/Water (Solvent/Diluent), Musa Paradisica Fruit/Musa Paradisica (Banana) Fruit (Emollient/Lubricant), Cetearyl Alcohol (Emulsifier), Cetrimonium Chloride (Hair Conditioning Agent), Phenoxyethanol (Preservative), Hydroxyethylcellulose (Stabiliser/Thickener), Lecithin (Stabiliser/Emulsifier), Mel/Honey (Natural Additive), Panthenol (Hair Conditioning Agent), Propylene Glycol (Humectant), Parfum/Fragrance (Fragrance), Benzyl Alcohol (Preservative), Ascorbic Acid (Antioxidant), Citric Acid (pH Adjuster), Sodium Chloride (Viscosity Modifier), Sodium Hydroxide (pH Adjuster), CI 15985/Yellow 6 (Colorant), CI 19140/Yellow 5 (Colour).

My hair hates lots of Shea butter and I'm avoiding cones, sulphates, polyquats and parabens.

I was thinking of jessicurls gentle lather shampoo, has anyone had luck with this? The only shampoo I find that doesn't build up or tangle my hair is the Giovanni smooth as silk shampoo but unfortunately it made my hair frizz.

I have hard water.
2B, high porosity and fine hair.

Yes to Cucumbers sulfate free is great for super hard water. I liked Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Treat in moderately hard water.

Did you find that Giovanni tea tree gave you frizz? Have you tried the smooth as silk?
I tried yes to cucumbers and wasn't sure if it was the shampoo or conditioner that made my hair a bit hard.

No, Giovanni TTTT doesn't not give me frizz. I haven't tried the Smooth as Silk, but the conditioner made me super itchy.

I'll have to give it a whirl if jessicurl doesn't work. Thank you!

Unfortunately the jessicurl made my hair very knotty. I think I'll have to give Giovanni a go. Oh the life of a product junkie.

If you have problems with shampoos, maybe a cowash with a surfactant in it would be better. KMF Whenever Conditioner is my holy grail of cowashes. It can still take out silicones and other product buildup, but is still super gentle.

My hair gets weighed down easily if I use moisturising products too often though. I liked the volume that smooth as silk gave me and it didn't knot my hair up. It just makes my hair frizz a little. If I use a moisturising shampoo it goes more wavy and loses curl throughout the day even with gel. So maybe tea tree or the max root Giovanni will be more moisturising but not too much? I find it really weird that these two have less surfactants when smooth as silk is suppose to be the most moisturising.

It could also be I'm washing my hair more often lately due to the insanity workout. Might try and skip a wash and see how one of those shampoos do once every two days.

What do you think? How often would you suggest to shampoo in my situation?
