Does the Rain Ruin your Stretched style when your hair is Oily?

I notice that when my hair is fully dryed or just light 80-90% dryed and add generous amount of oil(mostly jojoba oil, castor oil, and grapeseed oil) to my hair whenever it's a rainy day (as long as it is light rain not heavy rain) my hair doesnt' shrivel up or frizz the entire day!

I apply acv/water mix in my hair every night(with oil on top after) wrap it up with a scarf and I'm good for the next day.

I just wanted to know if other 4b/4c textures experience this.

I've not experienced this, but it could be because the oil creates a barrier that is causing it to have that effect

My hair is ruined after a rainy day whether I have oil or not because it's always so humid here in Houston. Rainy days are bun days for me.

I'm 4a/4b and it doesn't matter what I use in humid conditions. My hair is just going to react! lol

Gel helps the most, but nothing completely stops the shrinkage and frizz.

I suggest you research the ingredients in the products you use especially humectants. It makes a difference for me.
Yes, it's real. No, you can't touch it. :wav:
