How are you able to tell whether or not your hair is either protein-sensitive or protein-craving?

When I thought I was protein sensitive I simply read every label on every product. Knew every name for protein and eliminate using those products. My hair stopped looking frizzy. So then I knew I was protein sensitive. Then I had to experiment on how often or frequent to use a protein product.

I found out I was sensitive to protein when my hair started getting really dry and crispy and breaking off. I started looking at the products I was using and found that they all had protein. In fact, my hair gel had reformulated and added protein. So I started using products without protein and when I manage to get enough moisture then my hair looks and feels better. Not so dry and crispy. If I use something with protein now my hair immediately frizzes and feels dry.
