how often do you wash your satin pillowcases?

I have a little bit of breakout on my face in areas that generally have never broken out in years and years. And it's also a different kind of blemish than my normal monthly hormonal breakout too. I'm trying to brainstorm as to what could have caused it. I've changed hair products of course, and changed pillowcases. That's about it. I wonder if hair product could be getting into the pillowcase fibers. Or maybe just new product in my hair touching my face.
How often do you wash your satin pillowcases and how do you wash them (methods I read about include turning them inside out, put inside another pillowcase that is tied with a rubberband, etc)?

I personally am sensitive to the allergens in the down pillow I use. So I have a silk pillowcase and pillow allergen cover and I must wash them once a week or else I get inflamed airways. I just throw them in the machine (can't remember if inside out or not), no special method. I imagine that not only can hair product touch your face and be absorbed and spit out by the pillow (if it's down), but other allergens as well.

Super baby fine hair, low porosity
Shampoos: SM Fruit Fusion (mostly), Avalon lemon (to clarify). Occasional aloe vera and glycerin to wash.
Stylers: Intelligent Nutrients Perfect Hold Hairspray
Treatments: Catnip tea, IA girl's PT, Fermented Rice Water, Catnip Tea, Amla tea, Irish Moss, SS PT
