Do you pre-poo before co-wash?

Does anyone do a leave in pre-poo (whether it be pre-packaged or just coconut oil, or whatever) before the co wash their hair? It is winter and sooo dry. I also have very damaged hair that needs a lot of moisture & protein. Maybe I will try it and let you guys know? I think I might moisture overload if I did though.
Fine, 2c-3a, high porosity, high density, bleached ends.

I did when I had long hair. If you have trouble removing the oil with conditioner, try applying the conditioner a few minutes before you get in the shower. It seems to give it time to"combine with the oil so you can easily rinse them both out.
