    !!!!!!

Awful. About 2 in the morning a thud woke me up, I didn't think anything of if because it's an apartment complex and sometimes neighbors make noise. I heard it about two more times then I heard my blinds rattle a little. I got out of bed, put on my shoes, and tuned on the light. I opened the blinds and there was a little baby squirrel looking back at me. Holy Crapballs!!!

We think he fell down the chimney.

This is worrisome. I'm scared to ask what happened.

"Oh, xxx, why did you put those awful gauges in your ears? Where will you find work?"
  • papayahedpapayahed Posts: 1,282Registered Users
When I saw him I freaked out slightly and called the apartment complex, a country boy I knew was at work, and the pest control company I use for work. I opened up the door to the balcony and put piece of bread from the bedroom to the open door. Then I hung out in the kitchen until I decided I was getting the hell out of there. Luckily I had clothes in the dryer. By the time I was mostly dressed the courtesy officer showed up. He looked in the bedroom but couldn't find the squirrel. ( Unfortunately he did see my underwear lying on the floor near the bed ) He got my shoes and a pair of socks from the bedroom for me and we left the apartment to the squirrel. (I need to find a way to get him back - the officer not the squirrel, he was a hottie and wasn't wearing a ring ). Anyways, in the morning the apartment complex sent several people over to hunt down the squirrel but nobody could find him. They did find the grating over the chimney missing so that's why we think he got in that way. I'm thinking he made a break for it when I had the back door open and I was getting dressed. It's been three days and I haven't heard or seen anything out of the ordinary but I still haven't slept in the bedroom.

^ Aw. The baby squirrel won't hurt you. I would 't worry about sleeping in your room. It's just as scared as you were.

When it comes to the question, Idk. I never put anything past myself. I tend to come across more things I never thought I would hear/repeat.

There is a naked man under your porch howling at the full moon?

It really bugs the **** out of me that I like women as people so much more than I like men, and yet I'm heterosexual.

    Ooh. On that note...

It doesn't bother me that I have more male friends than gal pals. I appreciate and love the women I am lucky enough to call friends but for the most part, I've had a lot more trouble with women.

Never thought I would say a person I thought was a great friend slept with my boyfriend.

Never thought a person I thought was my good friend would write a letter, give it to me, tell me it was from a guy she knew I had a crush on and fill it with all kinds of bull about how much he liked me and wanted to go out and then turn around and say, "I just did it to make you feel better. I didn't think you'd actually talk to him" when I approached her about it. Mmmmhmmm.

Never thought another close friend would steal several items from my house after my parents were nice enough to let her live with us.

Another would blame me and rarely speak to me again when I actually got her out of trouble with the law but she had to endure a bit of a hard lesson from the officer in court in order for that particular judge to drop the charges. She did hit her boyfriend, with a phone, and knock him out.

I could go on but I won't. My guy friends have been a God send compared to most the women in my immediate life. I do like my curlies though.

My friend in response to me: You actually had a panic attack washing your car. I thought you were going to cry.

Me: I was crying and laughing at the same time.

I am scared of going through the automated car wash. I didn't quite understand what I was doing so all of the noise and movement would freak me out. I am 33 years old. Smh

One of my dogs flips out and crouches on the back seat when we go through an automatic car wash. I think she thinks it's Armageddon.

In fairness it is just a small post office agency, but it's always busy and very well stocked usually. My SO had gone to get some stamps for my cards to the UK and it was only those particular ones that they didn't have. There's a large British population in my area and obviously they'd all decided to send their Xmas cards at the same time. The poor woman behind the counter was pretty embarrassed!

I've been divorced for 21 years. I get odd looks when I say this, especially from men.
    From Michael Berg:

Every person has a unique connection to the Creator that can never be extinguished, and every person has a great soul that can manifest important things in our world. To make a person feel less than they are because of something inside themselves, be it faith, race, or sexual orientation, is the greatest sin of all."
