I'm now at 90% done. I need one gift card I will buy last minute if I see the person, a bracelet (waiting on cyber Monday/black Friday to find a deal), and have to go to the golf course for a gift card for my dad. I love it!

100% done shopping. Xmas cards almost finished. I will decorate this weekend and maybe get all the gifts sorted out and wrapped/bagged. Then all I'll have to do in December is bake, go to parties, eat, drink. : )

I have not even started. I'm so terrible at this. I have no idea what to get anyone. :angry7: I suck at this and it's so stressful for me. :sad6:

eta - Oh wait, I already posted the exact same thing here a month ago. No progress here except the boyfriend knows about the watch I want and is trying to get it for me. So even more pressure now.

"It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags."
That is not true in my family. So it took hours of dragging things down from the 3rd floor, sorting, bagging, wrapping, checking my lists, more sorting, packaging things up for shipping, checking lists again, putting everything back up on the 3rd floor. It doesn't look like many gifts but each bag contains many things. The 2 big bags for my sisters weigh a ton! Whew!

All done, just waiting on a few Amazon deliveries, then to wrap!

I think I got really fun stuff for everyone, so super excited!!

The best gift is tickets to CCR for my parents & aunt and uncles. 4th row center....they are all gonna be so excited!!

We're all giving them the tickets Christmas morning, but not telling them their siblings are going. They can figure it out for themselves at Christmas dinner!

I know I started this thread, but I haven't gotten squat down. I've had show after show after show. I spend all my time crocheting like crazy. My last show is the 14th (and I am on an alternate list for another) but I will shop after that show

Danigirl - I wish I took my time and wrapped more like my grandmother. She would take days to wrap gifts, with matching paper and ribbons and tags and little doodads attached. The only 'crafty' thing I do is make large gift tags out of old Christmas cards and try to match them to the gift bags.

CurlyCanandian - the concert tix are a great gift and what a nice surprise.

Glad I got so much done early since I am down with a nasty cold which is sapping the life right out of me!

The tickets only came about because I saw a Neil Diamond commercial and my Mom loveloveloves him! My Dad hates him, so figured I better get him good tickets to make up for having to go see ND. Bob Seger & Fleetwood Mac are both in Toronto in the new year, so sent my uncle a text asking which I should get. He said my Dad would prefer Seger and to let him know if I was getting tickets and he would get them for my aunt for Christmas.

I texted my cousins to see if anyone wanted to get tickets for their parents and by the time everyone decided, only crap Seger tickets were left. Then the CCR ones went on sale and I think that's a way more fun concert, so done!

We got our parents tix to Cher for her last big tour and they talked about that for years. They also loved the Trans Siberian Orchestra tix another year.
My dad is also a huge Bob Seger fan. Hmm. Filing that for future reference.

This year we are getting Dad and his girlfriend a big gift card from their favorite casino. They will love that.

The only thing left are gift cards. Luckily, I decided to wait until the last minute for those- I might be off the hook for some of those employee gifts. One resigned (her last day was my first day back from surgery), and five more might be working from home within the next week or two.

^ We'd be sitting around watching tv and there would be an elephant on some show and dad would say "Remember when Cher rode in on that elephant?!". : )

That is a neat idea! And I would have loved to have seen your grandmother's wrapping. It sounds so festive. My family isn't big on wrapping and I must admit, I'm not the best at it. I try to take my time more now and at least match the tag to the present.

Oh, they look nice perri. I never really bother with nice wrapping - things have to be plain and practical to get o/s and my SO and boys just wouldn't appreciate it, sigh.

I'm nearly done, got two parcels posted off today, another one yet to do, and all my online shopping is finished. Still got the boys to buy for which will be painful, but I'll make my SO make some decisions and do some shopping for a change.

I was hoping to get my sister some earrings from tonidaley.com, but she's shipping from Canada and I know I won't get them in time. Drat!

Still not sure about my mom. Might just do the bottle of oils. Although she does want a $1500 clutch bag from my dad. :sign5:
