Oktoberfest!

I know it's actually over but a lot of places here still have it going on! I'm going to Helen, GA today for it. I know that it's cheesy and not very authentic there but it's close and gets crowded and I get to wear my dirndl one more time!

Anyone else doing anything for it?

    I've been drinking some Sam Adams Octoberfest, but that's the best I can do :)

    Our city has a strong German heritage, so it tends to last most of the month here. We usually go once near the beginning, enjoy some great food, but by the end of the month we're all sick of the insane number of drunk people on the bus. :P

    LOL, where do you live? Helen is not very german at all, the food was okay, at least there was german beer!
