LOVED it. It inspired me to quit straightening my hair for good (this was a few years ago) definatly a good introduction to how to care for your natural hair :]

I think it's a great book for getting started – it's not amazingly in depth in some regards, but I always recommend it to newbies as it helped me so much when I was just starting out.

thanks guys! i know it is a great book, i have only straitened my hair like 3-4 times that i can remember, so i cant really relate to some of you on that level. however it taught me about co-pooing, which is perfect for my normally dry curls.
