Good and affordable products for 3B hair?

Hi, I've been planning on getting a hair wardrobe makeover and I need some suggestions! My hair has quite good curl definition on its own but moisture is what is needed the most. My hair can get really dry and brittle which ruins my curl pattern and leaves it frizzy which I hate.

i think i can help you my hair type is 3b and 3c, like you my hair also tends to be frizzy and dry if i don't use the right products,
for conditioner: i use ogx hydrating macadamia oil conditioner, you can get a bottle online for about $6.00, i usually get mine at a Safeway, you could try target and walmart also.
for shampoo: i dont have a favorite shampoo, ogx has some nice ones though, if your hair is really dry you may want to try doing no poo .
for styling: i use Jessi curl you can find there site by Google jessi curl.com I use confident coils and rocken ringlets, it is expensive, around $17.00 a bottle but a bottle lasts me about a year and a half, so i would say it is worth every penny. it does amazing things!

If you have a Sally's try the Generic Value conditioning balm and Volumax Mega gel. That stuff is amazing. Less is more. start out with a smaller amount on wet hands. I also can't recommend enough pretty much anything from Camille Rose. Especially the Coconut Leave In. Some Targets carry some Camille Rose.
2a medium porous, You can see my wavy tutorials here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLy8bclCLgER5N_uVYSYZNxhBHSXAW40OQ and my wavy blog is The Wavy Nation http://wavynation.wordpress.com

What I've noticed (with my 3c/4a hair) is that curls need hydration more than moisture. Hydration is what makes curls clump and reduce frizz. Are you using silicones in your products? You may only need them if you use heat on your hair. I have low porosity hair so I use shampoo once a month because my hair will get weighed down. I deep condition weekly & use tresemme naturals hydrating conditioner to cowash. I use a leave in under my gel. I have frizz free curls.
