I like it more on wet hair, after a leave in, as a sealer/styler. Very small amount. Gives me nice definition, leaves hair soft, moisturized and pretty shiny. It's good on dry hair too, but since I started using my pomades and butters on wet hair, I rarely feel the need to use them on dry. What I like about this pomade, besides nice scent (which I don't find overpowering), is texture, some pomades are heavy and waxy, but this is very light, and easy to spread between the palms, and easy to apply to hair, there's no drag. So it's just an enjoyable product to use, aside from good results. Can't say anything about build up or how hard it would be to rinse for someone who uses no/low 'poo, because I wash daily with sulfate shampoo.
