I've been using DevaCurl for 6 months or so now, but I never feel like my hair is that clean. I have fine 2c/3a hair, dry on the ends but tends to get oily at the roots. I live in a super dry climate. I'm wondering if I should give co-washing a try or shampoo bars? Opinions are appreciated!

Have you tried a cleasing conditioner? I find them to get my hair cleaner than a regular conditioner but not as clean as a shampoo. I like the VO5 tea therapy and Suave clarifying. Also when you shampoo try to concentrate the product only at the roots and just let it hit the length of your hair as it rinses out. Another tip is to put conditioner or oil on your ends before you shampoo too protect them from being really dried out.
Yes, it's real. No, you can't touch it. :wav:

If your hair doesn't feel clean with Deva products, then it probably won't feel clean with a cowash either. I would suggest a good low poo and a good conditioner without polyquats or glycerin (Deva products are loaded with both).

Thanks! I'll have to look out for those.
