Conditioner Trouble?

Hello everyone! I recently purchased the GVP Conditioning Balm after I ran out of my KCKT which I had been using as a conditioner. I was very excited to try the GVP Balm since many curlies online seem to rave about it. My hair hates it though! My hair is soft after I use it but lacks structure and just seems to frizz out. I've tried it with my LA Looks gel and with a mousse but got the same results after styling....Any ideas why it would do this? What else should I be using instead?

What are your dew points like? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that conditioner's high in humectants, which might cause the results you describe?

I hadn't even considered that. We have had some pretty high/humid temperatures so that makes sense!
