I need serious help with shampoos

Hey everyone, I've been getting my routine down pretty well, but shampoo is still giving me an issue.

Right now I am using Curl Junkie Daily Fix, which I love, but it has Guar Hydroxypropytrimonium Chloride, which I read can build up on some people. I also use Mop Top Daily Conditioner which is my HG, but has Hydroxypropyltrimonium Honey (which can build up according to the same article) and shea butter. I haven't noticed a problem yet, but I've been trying out shampoos that have left my hair super dry. I'm concerned that the Daily Fix won't cut it due to it being gentle and having an ingredient that can build up. Any thoughts?

I want to rotate in a low poo, but I'm having so much trouble finding ones without any of my problem ingredients that doesn't completely strip my hair. I don't think I need a clarifier, just something stronger than DF to combat the shea butter and other ingredients that may build up.

I have pretty build up prone hair, and polyquats are my biggest enemy. I also want to avoid the products mentioned above in a new shampoo.

-I've tried Curl Junkie Gentle Cleansing Shampoo which left me very gunky
-Kinky Curly Come Clean which stripped my hair so bad that it feels so rough and coarse and frizzier than ever.
-SM African Black Soap which was similar to KC Come Clean: DRY
-Alba Mango Shampoo which didn't really do anything for me

PLEASE HELP!

Have you tried just diluting your shampoo with water ? And/or applying a "safe" CO on your length before shampoooing to prevent the stripping?

I have tried, and it just left my scalp dry and the roots of my hair frizzy and rough. The length of my hair is fine, but my roots and the canopy of my hair feels completely dehydrated. I used to wash with Kinky Curly Come Clean, and it stripped it somewhat, but it seems that after switching to CJ DF, my hair's moisture content is much higher and is affected by the harsh shampoo so much more.
