I've found that aloe vera gel is the only thing I can put on 2nd+ day hair and not weigh it down. It does help smooth my frizz down. Sleeping on silk (whether pillowcase or bonnet) is helpful too; it definitely cuts down the frizz vs other materials for me.

Super baby fine hair, low porosity
Shampoos: SM Fruit Fusion (mostly), Avalon lemon (to clarify). Occasional aloe vera and glycerin to wash.
Stylers: Intelligent Nutrients Perfect Hold Hairspray
Treatments: Catnip tea, IA girl's PT, Fermented Rice Water, Catnip Tea, Amla tea, Irish Moss, SS PT

Thanks for your suggestion :). I'm gonna look for 100% pure aloe vera gel (or powder) when I'm on holiday in India.
I already sleep on a pillow covered with a satin scarf.
But I won't mind weighing down because I want to show length :p

I think Henna Sooq sells aloe vera powder, though unsure if they deliver internationally, you'd have to contact them to find out. Only thing about A.V. for me is, my curl gets elongated and pulls apart by the end of the day if I use it alone (not enough hold), so I use it to combat frizz mostly. If you don't mind getting weighed down there are probably tons of oils you can use in your hair. Coconut is popular. I just can't use oils in my hair.

I notice in your edited note you mention a satin silk scarf. I tried satin and it was better than cotton but still frizzy for me. Only 100% silk gave my hair minimal frizz. But everyone differs on that, some are fine with satin.

Definitely. Even when I blow dried my hair straight (lol, it was only faux straight anyways). Frizz always popped up during showers, esp when I didn't wear a shower cap. A shower cap, for me, helped my hair stay "like it was before" the shower on non hair washing days.

My hair is no where near as curly as yours but I do some things to make my waves last the week :)
I also wash and detangle my waist length hair once a week only, it's so much easier.

*Before sleeping, I plop my hair dry at night with a t shirt, usually with a bit of conditioner or olive oil on the ends.

*I wear my hair up more than I wear it down, I also check the weather outside before I have to go out somewhere, if it's windy then I always wear it up in a bun or pinned back, this protects curls from becoming frizzy, flyaway or just limp as the day goes on.

Low Shampoo: Aveda Be Curly Shampoo
Conditioner: Tresemme Naturals Nourishing Moisture/ Perfectly Undone
Treatments: SM Black Castor Oil Masque/ Packet Gelatine
Leave in: Redken Diamond Oil Conditioner
Styling: AG Recoil Curl Activator/V05 Mega Hold/Cornstarch
Refresh: Redken Fresh Curls Curl Boost

You can try a custard like styling product. It will hold for 7 days. My fav is cantu curling custard.

I use Shea Moisture Curling Gel Souffle on my wet hair, then refresh with it throughout the week. It works wonders on frizz and does elongate the hair a bit (though I like volume so I diffuse.) I think the reason it works is that it gives moisture and hold, to keep the clumps intact, so if you can find any product like that it should help. You can also experiment with some half up styles when the front pieces start to get wonky.

I also have long hair, and I usually wash twice a week. If my curls are struggling by the third or fourth day, and it seems like they wouldn't respond well to extra product, I do a braid or updo. For me it's the great advantage to having longer hair, especially in hot climates. Maybe updos could help you stretch your washes?

I mixed aloe vera gel with a tiny bit of coconut oil in a small spray bottle of water and I find that If I spritz my hair with that everyday my hair looks just as good as my second day hair (which is best for me).
I can go a full week without washing it.

    BUT

The longer I go without washing it the more tangled it gets!
    Mostly 3b with 3a and 3c underneath
Layered but mostly BSL (Hip length when straight)
Conditioner: As I am Cowash, OR Tresseme Naturals OR Shea Moisture Masque.

Style: KC Knot Today+ a TINY bit Shea Moisture Curl Smoothie.
2nd-6th day hair: Spritz with a mixture of Aloe Vera Gel, Coconut Oil, and water.

A lot of wavies and curlies need to at least rinse their hair more than once a week for either detangling or frizz/ pouf.

There are some long haired Curly Girls on YouTube posting their overnight/ refreshing routines. Waterlily716 used to be at least waist length, Curlywavydiane currently is, there are others with tighter curl patterns.

Sadly my style never survives being very sweaty/ a workout, rarely survives a shower due to the humidity. I recently found that mousses can give better overnight root frizz control than commercial gel, others swear by flaxseed gel in spray form.
2a-2c, medium texture, porous/ colour treated. Three years CG. Past bra strap length heading for waist.

CO-wash: Inecto coconut/ Elvive Volume Collagen
Treatments: Komaza Care Matani, coconut/ sweet almond/ fractionated coconut oils, Hairveda Sitrinillah
Leave in: Fructis Sleek & Shine (old), Gliss Ultimate Volume, various Elvive
Styler: Umberto Giannini jelly, Au Naturale styling gelee
Flour sack towel, pixie diffuse or air dry.
    Experimenting with: benign neglect
