Can stretching your hair often
(ie. permrods,flexirod, curl formers, rollersets, etc.)
Really make your natural curl pattern looser overtime?

    No. Your hair curls the amount it does based on its shape. One side is stretched, sort of like the curly ribbon that you've run scissors down one side to pull it out.

    Growing you hair longer can make the curl pattern slightly looser due to the weight the hair strands have to carry.
