1 month before my wedding! PLEASE HELP!

My hair naturally highlights in the summer with the sun. I've had highlights for years & recently wanted to dye my hair so it would be all one color, knowing that some of my highlights would come through eventually.

My natural color is a light brown. When I arrived at the salon, my hair was almost yellow from lightening in the sun so much. I had my hair professionally dyed dirty blonde 3 weeks ago.

3 weeks later, my hair is golden blonde on the top, where it naturally highlights (seems like much of the color has washed out, even tho I use sulfate free shampoo) & the only place the dirty blonde dye took was on my roots & underneath, where it's normally darker. I have pics that I took in esteem the last 3 weeks and can see the slow progression of my natural highlights coming through.

Is there something my stylist can do to make the dye stay on my naturally highlighted hair?

Honestly, I'm at a loss of what to do. My wedding is in 3 weeks and not sure what to do. I'm thinking maybe I should get lowlights to match my color underneath. I hate the look of blonde hair on top and dark hair beneath. I'd like a more natural look.

Any help is appreciated!!

    Hi!

Your stylist can add a neutral protein filler to the hair color, the reason color fades out faster is because the hair has higher porosity and the protein can fill in the "gaps". You can also try using a LI with protein and maybe skip a shampoo in between and just "water-wash".
