Curl refresher on second day hair?

As a new CG, I'm still working on fine-tuning my hair routines.

Was lusting after some new products at Target, which got me wondering: Is it really useful to use a curl refresher spray on second day hair? Does the additional hydration really make that much of a difference?

Also, can anyone recommend good curl refresher sprays that aren't too oily and won't weigh hair down or leave it limp?

I just spritz down with water or lavendar water (and I have honestly not seen a difference there) and then apply something more that I used the day before or maybe something like Ouidad Texture Taffy which is pretty soft but gives me a nice gentle reboot. It kind of depends on what I used the first day and how it is acting when I refresh it. You can see a typical refresh for me here: Second Day Wavy Routine - YouTube
