Bangs - Help!

I'm guessing this has already been discussed somewhere on here, but I'm a newbie and I have to ask...

What do you wavies do for bangs? I HAVE to have bangs, otherwise my forehead would take over the world. But if I don't straighten them or blow dry them, they end up a flat gross looking mess stuck to my five head. They aren't curly enough to look cute and they aren't straight enough to look intentional. They just look...neglected.

Any advice?

What kind of bangs do you have? Do you have regular bangs or long side bangs? You could always grow them out and get long side bangs that blend in with your hair. I've had regular bangs and side bangs. My side bangs are still growing out and they're blending in nicely with the rest of my hair. That's something that you could try.

I hated having to style my bangs every single day.

My bangs are the one place I do use a curling iron on. Super briefly to give curve and lift.
2a medium porous, You can see my wavy tutorials here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLy8bclCLgER5N_uVYSYZNxhBHSXAW40OQ and my wavy blog is The Wavy Nation http://wavynation.wordpress.com

I have the opposite problem (in that even in the past when I wasn't wearing my hair wavy, my bangs grew out way too quickly), but.... I layer my hair and so there always end up being shorter (long bang-like) pieces towards the front.

Otherwise, I think your best bet is to curl them with a curling iron like Chupie said.

I have long side bangs, and I love the way they look straightened, but naturally they have some wave, and the ends flip out at awkward angles! I think I might just accept that a little heat to keep them under control is not a big deal, like chupie does. Chupie, do you notice a difference in the health of your bangs versus the rest of your hair?
