Nighttime frizzies

I'm a 2b/2c with fine hair (just a heck of a lot of it). Until now, I've had long hair that I was able to pineapple successfully at night to keep it from frizzing. Last week I cut it to chin length and now 3/4 of my hair is too short to pineapple. I can sort of pineapple the top but it's straightening out my curls because I have to pull the hair so tight to get it to work.

I'd love some suggestions from other short haired curlies on what I can do to prevent hair frizz overnight.

I have satin pillowcases on my pillows and that helps a lot. I also find that after I do a coconut oil deep condition treatment my hair is a lot less frizzy.

I second the satin pillowcase; was a big help to me. Plus it's comfy to sleep on.

Satin pillowcases being more comfy to sleep on is just an extra bonus of helping to combat nighttime frizz.
