3C Hair is growing and losing curl..

Hoping anyone else who may have dealt with this could give me some tips.. I posted a picture on here a couple years ago and was told my hair looked to be 3c, but since my hair has grown past my shoulders I dont have much of a definite curl pattern like I used to. It's kinda just big and stretched out. Is this just the normal thing that happens? Tried to take pictures but my hair is dark and doesn't photograph well.

Mine is starting to do this too! When my hair was much shorter i had all these O shaped ringlets...now they're all super defined S shaped waves.

I was thinking i may need a trim...but it seems to be the nature of this type of pattern.

If i use more protein they're a little more springier.

Yes length can give weight which will elongate curls. I personally like that effect

I think this is normal. my profile pic is my hair now it's short - very tight curls. but when it grows longer like medium length as it was in this pic, it tends to go kinda wavy-curly. Weirdly, I find getting trims even if small like half an inch generally defined my curl pattern by next wash. weird

This is normal. The length weighs tge hair down. If you're losing definition you may need to change your products. This is also common too.
