I'm letting go of the flat iron and going for a more natural look. Will this work?:
  • seperate hair with hair gel. then spray with hairspray.
  • use a a diffuser to set
  • define with a cimping iron
I want the style to last all day.
2c high density not sure about porsity.
-predominately 2c (thick when dry, limp and stringy when wet)
-fine 3a sideburns
-3b at nape (frizziest and shrinkiest)
-humidity and static sensitive (lol)
-loves natural products.....scared of even the milest chemicals

Well, to me that sounds like a recipe for dry dry crispy damaged hair. Have you ever looked up the curly girl method? If you have 2 c you will be able to get some nice long lasting wave if you can get it in shape.
