Aveda be Curly Curl Controller

I recently got bought this product as a present but was kind of disappointed. I had pretty high expectations considering the price but was really let down :( I have 3a/3b hair and I just found that it didn't control my hair at all and it just made it feel like it had loads of product in it, when it didn't, yet somehow didn't weigh it down at all (which is actually something I look for in a product sometimes) It also seemed to make my hair feel really dry and I had to do a DC after whenever I used it. I have only heard good things about this product so be warned, it may not be for everyone!

I am surprised you were able to find it as it has been discontinued. When I asked a sales clerk at Aveda why it was being discontinued, she said it was because they felt the be curly style prep and be curly curl enhancer were better products.

I found that the curl controller worked better as a 2nd/3rd day product as a refresher. Also, a little bit goes a long way.

I am from the UK which may be the reason why? I actually don't know where was from because it was a gift, I didn't know that it has been discontinued. I have not tried the other products from the range and I was put off after the curl controller but after what you have said I might be more tempted to try!
