Target now has Camille Rose, Carol's Daughter, Karen's Body Beautiful, Jane Carter Solution, Oyin Handmade, Miss Jessie's, and some other natural hair brands that are usually mail order.

I'm glad for the the variety of hair products at Target...my only thing is that the products seem to be different than when they debuted originally, if that makes sense. Like the Curls line is different at Target and I'm pretty sure Oyin is no longer handmade if they are now on Target shelves. I don't know...I just side-eye some of the natural hair product lines that they sell.

Miss Jessie's has been in Target for a few years.

Simply Debra, the curls line is different in Target but they acknowledged that when the line launched in 2010. Since then, they've expanded to other stores like Sally's, CVS, Walmart (2013), etc. The store brands are marketed as their "budget" or affordable line as opposed to the professional line online or in salons. They also started carrying two of the professional line products in Target now, but they are quite a bit higher in price than the budget products (granted less than their online ones). I haven't tried the Target version to know if it's the same but I have loved their products in the past. The selection of products in the budget line are not as wide in variety, but the quality is the same.

Then again, I really can't speak for the other brands. I also am of the same thought process with the Oyin handmade, it seems like too much of an undertaking to be so widely available. The Camille Rose and others haven't been available long (or at all) at the Target's around me, but that's normal for where I live.
3C/4A, fine texture, low-medium density, and low porosity

PT: iagirl's gelatin treatment 3-4 times a month, with conditioner/honey/avj

Yeah, overall it is definitely a good thing to have these products more readily available. The Curls products in Target still work well.

Camille Rose and Oyin are not in my area yet, but I'm happy for them that they are doing big things!
