I ended up buying it and used it for the first time tonight. It had no slip whatsoever and made my hair feel extremely dry. Is it supposed to be like that?

I followed the instructions (left it on for 15 minutes and rinsed after attempting to detangle) and my hair felt fine after I rinsed, but I'm still skeptical. Am I using it correctly?

Vegetable glycerin, olive oil, avocado oil, sweet almond oil, oat flour, citrus rind (cleanser), lanolin, nettle leaf powder, quillaja extract, oat oil, chlorophyll & vegetable oil, rosemary leaf oil, tocopherol (vitamin E), fragrance

It's 99.33% natural (according to the tube), so I have no idea why this is happening. Could dews have something to do with it, even if it isn't staying in my hair?

Usually with pre-poo treatments you don't detangle your hair with it. It doesn't contain any detangler ingredients that I can see. Honestly, you're better off just using a straight up oil. The purpose of pre-poo treatments are to protect the protein in your hair while you shampoo... it's not a conditioner.

Yeah I agree with sixelamy. You can just use straight up oil, or you can use something like this. It's not for detangling. Just supposed to protect your hair and add some emollient properties to your hair before poo-ing.
