Model Noemie Lenoir's new shorn blonde crop!

Also posted on non-hair discussion board.

Oh, I loved french model Noemie Lenoir's beautiful curls. She's now sporting a blonde crop! At least she has the gorgeous features to carry it off though!

M&S model Noemie's cropped hair horror

Unbelievably, it seems the Britney look is catching on. Gorgeous French model and actress Noemie Lenoir, the face of Marks and Spencer and Next, was spotted in New York - with a freshly shorn blonde crop.

Noemie is barely recognisable without the signature golden brown pre-Raphaelite curls she normally sports in television and advertising campaigns for the companies she models for.

With no clue as to why she's undergone such a severe transformation, one can only conclude that she's been cast a baddie in her latest film.

She is currently filming the third instalment in the Rush Hour franchise with Chris Tucker.

The mother of one, who is married to French international and Chelsea star, Claude Makelele, looked like she was getting into character, as she sat stern, and unsmiling while lunching with friends at popular celeb restaurant Cipriani.

Let's hope this attack of the crops isn't catching.

Who will it strike next?

ya know - I really like her hair shorter better.
She has such a beautiful face - I think the hair was hiding some of her features

She kinda reminds me of Alex Rodriguez with the short hair...And by no means is that meant as an insult because A-Rod has beautiful features. Those curls and that caramel color were to die for...but she's absolutely gorgeous though, regardless of the long or short.

That part really bugs me. The folks in media criticize women for wearing their hair natural (naturally curly, naturally frizzy, naturally grey, naturally wavy, whatever), then they criticize a beautiful woman for cutting her hair short. Maybe she cut it for a movie role of an ad campaign, maybe she cut it because it was damaged, or maybe she cut it cuz she just plain wanted to!

I think she had beautiful curls, but she also looks gorgeous with the short 'do.

I think on Regis this morning they said those short cuts are really popular right now.

I love it. Her curls were beautiful, but I really prefer the short do. It makes me want to cut my hair even shorter! :D

She has really cool hair either way. And it's fun to mix it up now and then. :) She can totally carry it off. I love what it does for her eyes!

Now that is a drastic change. I love her curls and the caramel color but she is still pretty without it. I could never pull off that look!

I think it looks totally cute! I'd be pissed if people were taking my picture while I was eating, too

I've had my hair that short before, and it was a lot of fun. Either really short or really long works well for my hair.
Hair type: 3A. Almost chin length with Bettie bangs. Currently using GF Curl & Shine S/C, leave in and jojoba oil. Colored black. Check out my curly journal on this site!

I think she looks horrible. I loved her curly and long. Even if she had cropped some of the length off she would have looked good, but this is just --- chemo.....(apologies to those who are actually going through this)

Playing with my hair is a hobby. Fluffy, fine natural 4a. Goal= Healthy, beautiful hair that retains its length.
Hear that crash? It's me falling off the CG wagon.

She still looks great though - sickening.

I love the long, caramelly curls, but the short cut works for her, too, IMO.
