Desperately searching for glycerin free products!

I live in an extremely dry climate and I am looking for products that will help fight dryness and promote moisture retention. I fell in love with devacurl, but the high content of glycerin in all the products is problematic in the winter time. My hair and scalp get dry and itchy. I find I get best curl definition with gels. Anyone have success with shea moisture products? Suggestions would be wonderful!

Curl Junkie's CIAB and Pattern Pusha are both glycerin free I think. I live in a dry climate too and avoid glycerin as much as possible.

Shea Moisture products are great, but they build up so easily. I wouldn't recommend on LP hair, but not sure what your properties are.

I'm having great luck with KCKT leave in. I was anti-everything about that product, but it's really saving my hair right now.

If you like Deva look at the ingredients and find products with similar formulas, yet without loads of potent humectants. IIRC one of the Yes To ... conditioners is similar to One Condition but no glycerin.

Shea Moisture is a completely different type of product, shea butter is heavy and can easily build up.

You also don't have to use the whole of one line, sometimes just switching out one product is useful. Glycerin is water soluble and not substantive (doesn't stick to hair) so way more of a problem in a leave in product than a wash out product.

Going off track also review your diet if you only have scalp problems in winter: make sure you are eating plenty of oily fish for example (long chain omega-3s, bioavailable vitamin D), to a lesser extent seeds and other oily plant foods. You want lots of healthy fats, but the right balance between omega-6 and omega-3.
2a-2c, medium texture, porous/ colour treated. Three years CG. Past bra strap length heading for waist.

CO-wash: Inecto coconut/ Elvive Volume Collagen
Treatments: Komaza Care Matani, coconut/ sweet almond/ fractionated coconut oils, Hairveda Sitrinillah
Leave in: Fructis Sleek & Shine (old), Gliss Ultimate Volume, various Elvive
Styler: Umberto Giannini jelly, Au Naturale styling gelee
Flour sack towel, pixie diffuse or air dry.
    Experimenting with: benign neglect

Yes to Carrots. The Yes To.. line is lovely.

Giovanni L.A. Natural Styling Gel. It's a pretty hard hold, but scrunches out nicely.

Thanks for the help everyone :). Heavy products might not be my best friend. I think I am somewhere between low and normal porosity. I don't think my scalp is to blame, as soon as I switched out the glycerin products my scalp is fine. I just don't have any good replacements. I will have a look for those products, I know I have seen some Yes to carrots.

Edit: Canada seems to have limited access to good products.

Ugh trying to transition back to CG and my scalp is itchy! I almost want to give up. What is the point of using natural products if they just create more problems. I like my AG shampoo and conditioners, at least they moisturize my hair properly. :( Need inspiration.

I bought a bottle of the yellow LaBella gel the other day. It is glycerin-free. I tried it for the first time today I can't atest to results just yet.
2C waves with a little 3A thrown in for fun, medium density, on the course side hair (IMO--will have stylist confirm at some point.) Still trying to work on porosity- have characteristics of both high and low

Polyquats are terrible. I seems to be able to tolerate butters and oils in the most sparing amounts as long as I low-poo frequently.
