ouidad or devachan for my big chop

I have been transitioning for about a year now and i finally want to do a big chop because i am sick of this giant puff ball. I have gotten a devacut once but i did not like that she put a bunch of gel, diffused it, and i walked out with a puff ball. I have been reading about both and ive seen many people say devacurl is better because ouidad grows out very terribly. I was short of leaning toward giving ouidad because they can take some of the volume for very thick hair. So which one should i look into for my big chop. I am very scared though that cutting it short is going to leave me with very big hair like the last time i got a short cut when i was 11 by a regular stylist. I have only gotten a curly cut once so i am still confused. Please help

Since you are cutting off the relaxed ends then I would go to any hairstylist. Quidad and Devachan would be too expensive for this purpose.

Now once your hair grows and you want to style for shape then I would go to a curly specialist.

And this is coming from someone who doesn't let just anyone cut their hair!
