I don't have pics, sorry, but I recently discovered something regarding refreshing that might work for some of you. When I wash my hair, I do it the night before, plop for a few minutes, scrunch in a little gel (BRHG), then cover with a silk cap and sleep on it. It always comes out great the next morning, but subsequent mornings not so well because it gets increasingly squashed, frizzy, and just generally a mess. I tried all sorts of ways to refresh, but if anything, it looked worse after I messed with it. I finally realized that if it works to leave it overnight after washing, why not try refreshing at night and seeing how it looks in the morning? Voila, success! So now I wet my hair down pretty well with a spray bottle (very damp but not dripping), rake through small amounts of conditioner (Tresemme Naturals Moisture) diluted with water both flipped over and upright, scrunch a bit, and slap that silk cap on. Then shake a bit in the morning and it looks the same way it does after I wash. I'm actually on fifth (!) day hair today and it still looks good despite rain.

So here are mine- I pineapple religiously and usually get even third or fourth day hair. However, after I've pineappled, I usually have to pull the front back in someway since my "bangs" don't usually look good the next day. Today I used a headband.

I use a claw clip for pineappling too! I use the large octopus claw clip, love it. My hair is not thick enough for a scrunchie or band to be held with only one loop. But two loops leave my hair flat. So it's gotta be a clip. Put it at the top of your head like a pineapple and you can't feel it. Nikki uses a Goody flexible hold hair clip, which is also an option.

Aha.... My hair is thick, but not enough to hold a band either, so my curls always pull out because I wrap it twice. I really should try this claw clip idea.

It's definitely interesting. O.o I can't pineapple yet either... I'll see if I can find a decent claw clip around!

Freshly air dried and some of the crunch scrunched out.
And the second and third are after I slept on it without my satin case in a pineapple...not bad but definitely a difference. I don't try to refresh them. I wear them as is or style it up or however. :)

To the ladies thinking about the jaw clip. You really should try it. I couldn't get the pineapple right. My hair is very thick and it would leave a dent no matter how I tied it. The main reason why I started the jaw clip was because I was going to bed with damp hair the pineapple wasn't really helping my curls. My hair is longer now and the curls were getting smashed in my sleep bonnet. They were weird and straight. With the jaw clip I twist my pony tail and secure with jaw clip. This is the ONLY thing I've found to work. Braids don't work, pineapple doesn't work, loose doesn't work. Good suggestion for people that can't find a method that works.

Twist outs are my go to so my hair is usually twisted at night then I just take it loose and fluff the next morning I keep it simple. I only add products once a week during the initial twisting and my hair is good the rest of the week :)

Finally remembered to take pics! First one is right after removing my scarf, second undone twists, third fluffed and styled. Don't know why but left side curls hung much longer yesterday so I pinned the back up. Would have liked to take care of top too but figured if I did that might as well just restyle.
