Anybody have scalp problems from co or no poo?

2 of the things I have tried, Deva Curl No Poo and Pantene CoPoo make me feel like my scalp is coated with something and it is all itchy and annoying.
If I do a co poo with actual conditioner, it is not a problem, I also can wash just my scalp area with shampoo and that is fine.
The best I have found so far is the Silk Elements line, and I have been trying lots of things. I also recently tried a shea butter masque, I like it, of course I like shea butter in general, good stuff.
I still end up having to add leave in conditioner, or spray oil or something like that, especially on my ends in the winter. I just ordered the leave in olive oil/shea butter conditioner from Silk Elements and I got their cowash. If it is like the rest of the products I have tried, I will love it.

One of the great suggestions in the book is for brown sugar (scalp) scrubs. You mix a tablespoon of brown sugar with three tablespoons of your co-wash conditioner, and give yourself a thorough scalp massage. If you have buildup on your scalp, this really helps to break up any scalp buildup; and I also found that it helped me to get a better sense of how well to massage my scalp when co-washing. I had to do this a couple of times early on in my CG journey, had very good results, and haven't needed to do it since then.

I still have an aftercare program (which I am experimenting with at the moment). Coconut oil is an amazing product, I put a small amount through the middle/ends of my hair then apply a small amount of argan leave in conditioner. I'm hiding half the argan cream I used to now!!
