is shea moisture smoothie good for a hair type like mine? i need a good hair care regimen or something(my hair is dry and fragile and it breaks when i put my pick through it, i need a moisturizer) i have a satin durag and a satin pillowcase i currently use generic tea tree oil shampoo i have no conditioners i use the water based moisturizer organic root stimulator olive oil ( i think this causes buildup in my hair and makes it even more dry) (i have a plastic and metal pick, do i need a wide tooth comb?) basically what i'm asking for you is to help me on my journey to having nice good hair, i hope you see this thanks. (i am a dude)

Instead of focusing on your curl type focus on your hair properties to assist you with what products to use. I am on my phone so I can't attach any links but if you search on this website for hair properties, there are numerous links that will break down each process in helping you determine what is right for your hair. HTH! :)

yes u need a wide tooth comb, try any of these deep conditioners for dry hair https://t.co/aYCMDA5XKx

Stop the afro picking, you need to reduce ur use of Combs.....I noticed you didn't include a leave in conditioner/moisturizer,so here are some easy diys

    regular conditioner,water & coconut oil

Shea butter, regular conditioner & aloe vera gel

aloe vera gel & olive oil

    water,glycerin & any oil

    cocoa butter,Shea butter & honey

    honey,conditioner & water

you should also try co washing (washing ur hair wt a conditioner instead of a shampoo) but u can't use your ORS olive oil conditioner for this so buy a cheap & big regular/instant conditioner

include oils like coconut, olive & castor oils to your regimen...don't wash your hair daily if it isn't really short cause it'll dry out

after washing, apply an oil to your hair.....avoid heat.... moisturize frequently

hooe this helps! I'm a girl but my blog www.nappyteens.wordpress.com is for all natural teens,do check it out
