Color Query

So I'm really enjoying being a brunette but I feel the itch to shake things up a bit and bring some sass to my strands. I would love to add some pink or blue streaks to my hair but I'm not sure how to go about doing it. I know bleach is involved but it scares me!! Does anyone have any experience putting in fun color streaks onto dark hair? Thanks!!!:toothy2:

For blue or light pink you will need to bleach to almost white which is hugely damaging. For darker berry pinks you may be able to only go to ginger.

Have you considered clip in streaks?

CO-wash: Inecto coconut/ Elvive Volume Collagen
Treatments: Komaza Care Matani, coconut/ sweet almond/ fractionated coconut oils, Hairveda Sitrinillah
Leave in: Fructis Sleek & Shine (old), Gliss Ultimate Volume, various Elvive
Styler: Umberto Giannini jelly, Au Naturale styling gelee
Flour sack towel, pixie diffuse or air dry.

I second the clip in streaks. Much easier and less damaging in the long run. :)

Thanks ladies!! Clip-ins are not a bad idea.....I think I've seen them at Sally's. Would I have to wear them when my hair is straightened or can they be curled? :toothy4:

I know someone who just used Splat a semi permanent color. If you don't bleach it won't be as bright or last as long but that's probably ok. Wothput bleaching it should not be worse than any semi permanent color. They have a buttload to choose from.
2a medium porous, You can see my wavy tutorials here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLy8bclCLgER5N_uVYSYZNxhBHSXAW40OQ and my wavy blog is The Wavy Nation http://wavynation.wordpress.com
