What are your moments where you pat yourself on the back for your good hair?

I just one of these at work this morning. These two ladies have wavy hair, but they must blow dry it out or something. One of them has extremely dense hair, and doesn't do anything with it at all. I guess she's trying to grow it out right now, and I overheard her say that she can never do it, because her hair gets so big. She was talking about how much of a bad hair day she's having, and her hair is too big after her trim from yesterday. The other lady chimed in and was talking about how bad the static is in her hair. Here I am sitting at my desk thinking to myself, "Hmmm, I'm having a great hair day! There's no static in my hair." Then I picture myself styling the other lady's hair. Oh, to give tips if I could, but I don't step in where I don't belong. This lady would seriously have beautiful hair if she worked with what she's got.

I do pat myself on the back for having good, natural, happy hair. I had a great hair day today and every time I walked past a mirror I thought "Man I'm glad I let my hair do it's thing!"

Literally right now there are three women standing outside of my office who have natural wave/curl and are talking about how big it gets when they brush it. I'm just sitting here, thinking, WHY ARE YOU BRUSHING YOUR HAIR?!?!?! So I pat myself on the back for at least knowing that, geez.

I've thought the same things when others complain about their hair. I've even talked with some clients who come in and comment on my hair (I wait until they ask for my advice before I give it though). I do love sharing tips and tricks with other ladies at work too!

Ohhhh, I see this all the time...

So many ladies think going "natural" means doing nothing to your hair...they just shampoo, [ugh], and go then wonder why their looks a "hot mess" and is difficult to "manage".

Even people with straight hair, condition, style, take care to keep their hair healthy, etc.

Then you can't "teach" them anything because they feel you are insulting their hair, [when their "ignorance to hair facts" is an insult to the own hair].

I see many that I could "hook up" however they "hate" on my hair so I leave it alone. One girl told me there was a "natural group" but they probably would allow me in since my hair is curly...smh!

"Natural" does not mean dry, brittle, and "nappy", that just means one is not taking proper, general care of their hair...smh!
My hair is "exotic, beautiful and free",,,yeah, that be ME!!!
