I noticed on several posts that it's a good idea to test haircolor on shed plughole hair. What's that?

    This is just an example of hair that has fallen out in the shower.
    3a, dense, fairly coarse, normal porosity and elasticity, just below shoulder
    Low poo: Giovanni 50 50
