Where are the bomb Type 4 YouTubers?!

So....I've noticed something...and maybe it's just me (and my selfishness lol). But I've been trying to YT search "type 4 hair","kinky hair", "4b hair styles" etc
nearly everything under the sun and I get the same results....and there aren't many!

It's getting really frustrating trying to find some inspiration and styles for my type 4 hair. I mean, most of what I see (and no offence at all to some) are YTers with either short to shoulder length hair, or if they DO have long hair...I don't care for the styles.

I have 4ab&c hair, and I am nearly BSL. I was a two year transitioner (woop woop!) and I recently just cut off the last bit of my relaxed ends..thus; I'm trying to really get into some bomb hairstyles for type 4 hair my length. Roll tuck and pins and such...aren't my thing. I think we can have more sleek styles than that.
It's always fun to watch YTers like Taren Guy, LipstickNCurls, Natural Neicy, Mahogany Curls etc (my fabulous ladies whom I love so much), BUT I DON'T HAVE THEIR HAIR. So I just watch for the sake of watching, but I'd like to watch some people who have hair like me. Now, I know what you're thinking..."Maya, what about Naptural, African Export, and Ambrosia?"...yes, I love them. They truly helped me a lot with finding what works and doesn't work on our hair type. But...*sigh* "Maya, well what do you want???"

I'm not at all asking for them to do anything, I'm pretty much asking YOU curlies. :-) Who should I follow!? Give em YT pages, give me IG pages, idc!
I just want to uncover new styles and curlies to follow. I hope you all understand where I'm coming from.

I just subscribed to Joulzy, naturally curious and whoissugar. Naturally curious has the best bantu knot out I have ever seen. Mine never look good. I like bargain princess. She isn't a 4 but doesn't matter to me very much.
Yes, it's real. No, you can't touch it. :wav:

I love Alicia James for twisted updos lately. She's great! Her hair is probably 4a/4b mix. BeautifulBrwnBabyDol (I think that's her name) has nice updos as well.
I haven't tried any of their styles as of yet (my hair is braided up now) but I can't wait till I do!

But girl, Naptural85's hair and styling options are thebomb.com! She has so many easy and classy ones to choose from! I think you should check her channel again!

    I like

SummerKellsey (3c) - Love her hair and make up tips
Jouelzy (4c) - I find her kind of aggressive and her American accent hard to understand at times, but her tips are usually on point
NaturalMe4C (4c) - Love her simple, straight forward videos and she usually inexpensive products
    4CHairChick (4c)
Naptural85 (4a that is soo long that it looks 3c now from the weight)
    WhoIsSug? - So funny

FusionOfCultures is my fave naturalista! How could I forget her? Protective style queen! She taught me how to flat twist and got me re-obsessed with coconut oil, so i'm forever grateful. She's super creative and her styles are very neat & polished if you like that as opposed to Naptural85's more loose carefree looks.
MsVaughnTV always has bangin stretched hairstyle options. Fabulous with makeup too. & MeechyMonroe's twist outs always give me life. They're sisters btw.
Most of the ladies I mentioned are a 4a/4b mix.

Alicia James and Decluttering Solutions were both really great. Sometimes it helps if you just type in what you're looking for, such as 'bantu knots' or 'homemade mayonnaise deep conditioner' or 'buns' or 'protective styling' and a ton of results will come up.

'Poo: Aubrey Organics or Suave Clarifying
or Liquid African Black Soap (only 4-ingredients ; awesome!)
Co-Wash: Aubrey Organics or Suave Condish
Condish: Aubrey Organics or Onion Mask or Yogurt
DT: Honey + Olive Oil + AO Condish or Yogurt mix
Best Gel Combo, Ever!: Elasta Qp Feels Like Silk Liquid Gel +/under Eco Styler [Krystal, Brown] Gel (or under Wetline Extreme Styling Gel)- awesome!!
