My hair routine is listed in my signature . Although I did add Shea Moisture curl enhancing smoothie as a moisturizer . But my hair is still desert dry . Where could I have gone wrong? It is nice and soft like I like it but it has no shine. I just washed my hair last night it should not look like this!
Shampoo: Terressetials Mud Wash (lavender or lemon)
Co-Wash: Trader Joe's Tea Tree Conditioner
Deep Conditioner: Anita Grant's Rhassoul Deep Condish
Leave In: Kinky Curly Knot Today
Creams/Oils: Raw Shea Butter, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Jamican Black Castor Oil and Jojoba Oil

Hair looking dry and being dry is not always the same. If your hair feels soft and moisturized then it is. Curly hair isn't always able to have shine because of how it reflects light differently than straight hair. More of a sheen. You can look this up. Also color is a factor. my hair is naturally reddish brown color. I get no shine. Most curlies I see with lots of shine have dark hair. I think heavy greaselike products give the appearance of shine but my hair hates that stuff.
Yes, it's real. No, you can't touch it. :wav:

^^^^Definitely agree. Shea Moisture's Smoothie doesn't really give my hair sheen or moisture, just kind of smoothes my hair and makes it smell good. Maybe try the Curl and Style Milk.
