in Curly Teens
hey guys, i have some problems with my curly, wavy hair!
1. the tangles! the ends of my shoulder long hair are most of time (after doing sports, sleeping ect) full of tangles, how do you deal with that? everytime i brush through it it looks like a mess
2. can you recommend good hair gels for defining the curls? and also good shampoos ect for moisture it?
3. do you have ideas how to style them?
i would be very happy about every answer because i don't feel very confident with my hair in the moment

Aim not to detangle except in the shower with head slathered in conditioner. Curly hair is not meant to be tangle free at all times it is the nature of the beast. If you absolutely must dry detangle use your fingers and do the bare minimum, do not brush curly hair.

as far as styling curls i get really ocd -- i don't like crunchy looking ringlets but i've been loving the not your mother's curling serum. it smells. AHMAZING.
for styling i like to pin back random strands or chunks, although for the most part i wear it down.
I agree completely! If you use a brush on curls, it just separates them and makes them look fluffy and frizzy. Along with all this ⬆️ you can also rinse your hair with cold water at the very end of your shower.
