Fast Metabolism Diet

Has anyone tried this? If so what were your results. I have an extremely slow metabolism. I actually have all symptoms if hypothyroid except when my thyroid levels are tested they look fine. Along with all the hypothyroid symptoms I don't sweat unless its on the nineties and even then I don't sweat much. I have trouble with exercise as in it just wears me out. I did push myself a few years ago to do a spinning class for almost a year. I lost two pounds and wore myself out. I just can't seem to lose weight but I can surely gain it. Occasionally it seems that my metabolism "turns on" and all of my hypo symptoms go away, I have energy and I sweat. But it only lasts about a week then I'm back to the hypo symptoms.
So normally I don't diet. I just try to eat healthy. But this diet interested me because she talks about the diet resetting the balance between your pituitary, thyroid and adrenals. Which I do believe something in that area is dysfunctional for me.
With that I'm interested if anyone has tried this and what are your thoughts on it?

Eta: I should say low sugar since she does eat fruit.
Does your daughter do all over weights 2-3 times a week?
If you don't do enough resistance exercise you aren't going to lose fat.
If she did a proper weights session every other day I swear she would see results in 6 weeks and wouldn't be muscley.
She's 1 and works out for 2+ hrs a day, 7 days a week? That seems a lot. (She would have to cut back a lot on this diet.) How much weight is she trying to lose? I hope she's not not doing those kinds of work outs on an empty stomach. Plz report back and let us know how she's doing.
Eta: I prepare dinner every night, the night before. She eats before 5:30p, works out beginning at 6:30p and has a snack (fruit) at night around 9:00p. I weighed her yesterday and she had lost 6 pounds since she started this particular routine 4 months ago or so. This is the first I've seen real weight loss!
Are you sure she's taking in enough calories? It sounds like she has an already amazingly healthy diet. You need to keep the body going with the appropriate amount of calories for her activity level. If she's eating too little, it could hurt her weight loss.
