Bigger Clumps

I was wondering if there was a way to get bigger clumps? My curls are skinny. Sometimes they form bigger clumps....but i don't know how to MAKE that happen.

I get my hair to clump by putting products in while soaking wet, and constantly spraying with more water. Water promotes clumps by making the curls stick together. A thick gel also helps them stay together. After you styled, scrunch out the excess water with a t shirt or microfiber towel, and air dry. I find diffusing breaks up my clumps. Also make sure you don't have product buildup or too much oil in your hair making it look stringy.

Thanks for this! I've been doing this and i think someone in a similar thread said to try smoothing instead of raking...I've been doing that too with your method and my clumps are much better!

I get my hair to stay in clumps or thicker curls while it's very wet. I apply leave-in conditioner and an oil (usually coconut). I used to use gel, but I feel like gel doesn't work as well as conditioner.
3C, fine/med texture, normal porosity, high elasticity, very defined spiral

Holy Grail Products: TRESemme Naturals conditioner, my mango/shea butter mixture, Apricot Kernel Oil, Coconut Oil, EVOO & Cantu Shea Butter
