CJ CIAB question

bliss611bliss611 Posts: 238Registered Users
Hi,
Many of you use and seem to like CIAB. I am thinking of trying it out. But, with winter approaching, I am wondering if it works well in low dews and if it will work well with LOC method.

Last winter I just used Camille Rose's curlaide butter, over a little LI and sometimes used a tiny amount of my usual gel (HE SMU) on the canopy to smooth down any frizz. This winter I was going try the LOC method (still using the CMR Curlaide) for more moisture.

CJ is pricey so I'm just wondering if CIAB can have its full effect over the heavy products. Or would aloe gel (or another cheaper gel) be just as good an option and save CIAB for once winter is over.

i would not use cj aloe gel in low dews as it has lots of glycerin. for winter ciab should work. when i use it, i use it as a last step, like a serum over my other products.
btw, do you know you can buy curl junkie products on aveyou.com? they usually have a code for 15% off, look on retailmenot for current code. and, under $50 it's 5 shipping, $50 and over it's $1.
and, curl junkie has two sales a year -- black friday and easter. 25% off.
and, of course, curlmart sometimes has sales.
